A month in photo's

Yikes! I have been MIA for a month! I have 29 snap shots for you guys though.

39& 40 & 41 We went out of town for a little weekend before Valentines. It is one of my favorite things to go somewhere new. The weekend seems longer when I'm not on my usual to do list.

42. This little guy thought it would be hilarious to steal my glasses and run around like a maniac in them. He couldn't stand still he thought it was so cool to have glasses on. Silly kid.

43. As valentines approached I couldn't resist the chocolate or the valentines sentiment.
 44. This little guy arrived just before Valentines but it was one of my present. & I was so excited to get it

 45. One of my favorite things about this time of year is seeing these sunrises on my way to work.

46. we bought this little guy while we were out of town, and I finally pulled it out to use it.
 47. One of my Christmas presents. We finally, finally put it together. Lubbock was warming up quick and I didn't want to miss out on the beautiful riding weather.

48. It was put together & time to go

 49. We started riding a lot, and still do. There are a few key months in Lubbock where it's perfect outside, those temps will be replaced with unbearable heat soon enough.

50. We needed to pretend it was winter a little longer.

 51. I know both of these are of dogs and TV's but I think it is so funny the way our little one watched TV & That is Whitney and it is one of my favorite shows. Girl is hilarious.
 52. Some days you have time for nothing but mascara. I keep my fav mascara near. & Thank God for my Phoenix AZ roommate Megan for introducing me to it. She basically changed my life. ha. I kid. Mostly. Try this mascara out if you're ever in the mood to change.
 53. Market street. I love this store. It is right by our house. It is so nice. & the times we go are mostly quiet and it's like another world... & I love grocery shopping.
 54. I love this boy, enough to let him wear PJ's in public.
 55. I also love him enough to get his birthday cake together. I hate icing cakes. Cupcakes. Easy. Cakes. Ugh.
 56. Guys, I dream about Monte Cristo sandwiches. I do. They are one of the best things on the planet. But, my waistline doesn't appreciate them as much as my taste buds. So I set out to make a low calorie home made version and guess what? It was really really really good.
 57. Mr.Darcy in Oscar DeLarenta....the way it should by. Walking this little guy can be tricky since me and J like to go 3+ miles and he really likes to be carried after 1.
 58. I am... at Chuckie Cheese. It is a child's birthday party. I am also a child. I love skee ball. I'll play all night guys! I need one in my house. Obviously.
 59. I like when I am cleaning and songs I adore come on out of the blue. These guys are good stuff if you are looking for new music.
 60. The color run is coming! I am stoked. We looked at the one in Dallas to go to closer to my birthday but then this little guy announced Lubbock as a city! Delightful! & cheaper!
 61. Guys, I got back into books. I forgot how much I love reading them. I probably forgot how much I love writing them too.
 62. I put on my husbands sweatshirt this morning. Because it was cloudy and cold and because I miss him when we're apart and it made me feel like i had a piece of him
 63. If you live in Llano Estates and have been hearing fire works the past few weeks. Apologies. We have a precious little guy who turned 4 and who loves fire works!
 64. This same precious 4 year old surprised me at lunch!
 65. It is one of my favorite things to be able to make lattes and mochas and hot chocolates when ever I desire for a fraction of the price of Starbucks. Nespresso's should come standard in every home like... dishwashers.

66. When we went to Barnes & Noble, in looking for a new book it dive into I ran across the one that I wrote. I still love seeing it on the shelves & remembering I am a published author.

67. Just one of my favorite ways to be. With a book & a boy.

  2. Dawn this is how the back summary/overview reads:

    Overview
The last time she had looked in the mirror a dramatically different reflection had greeted her. It was almost four months ago now. Goose bumps rose on Lilly's skin as she looked at her arms, expecting to see the familiar black and blue bruises. They weren't there anymore; they were long gone. Her body had healed and recovered. If only her mind and heart would follow the example her body had set for them. Lilly Jackson was leaving behind a life she had always known for a clean slate. Moving in with her estranged grandmother, Lilly begins anew. New friendships, new town, and a new love. What Lilly didn't understand yet was that even on her clean slate remained red remnants of what used to be. Despite the nightmare she left behind in Princeton, Lilly quickly blossoms in the collegiate atmosphere with her grandmother's delectable cooking to distract her. Even more distracting is the handsome stranger who strikes up an argument with her: the passion of Heathcliff versus the immaturity of Mr. Darcy. Intrigued by the man and his sentiments, Lilly finds herself impossibly falling in love amidst literary parallelisms and allusions in a fairytale romance. But all too soon the thing Lilly runs from catches up to her, and only the strength and love she found in her new life can protect her from spilling Red.
