No to that.

There is a bunch of talking today. People talking about what our rights should be, how we should define marriage, how people should be treated. Equality.

I don't support gay marriage, I'm not one of those people. I'm black and white. Just because I don't support gay marriage, doesn't make me judgmental, it doesn't make me a closed minded ignorant Christian. I'm not.

I love people. I do. Of all shapes and sizes and beliefs. I love you. And I wish nothing less for you than your best life.

That's right I want you to have the best life.

I happen to know your best life is a life lived in pursuit of a Holy God. So I want that for you,and while I want you to feel loved I can not say I am for gay marriage because it is affirming a lifestyle that is apart from God.

& that's where my heart really is guys, that's why I wish the media would STOP, that people's eyes would be opened, that their hearts would know true love from the only one place it flows freely, in front of the throne of God.

My heart aches for anyone who is living their life apart from The Lord, in any style, any sin. I sin too, mine is not prettier than yours. The only difference might be, I don't want it, I know it is sin, I know it separates me from a God who is completely in love with me... And I am so head over heels for Him I can't put that between us.

So no, I don't believe in gay marriage, but its not because I don't value you as a person or think you deserve a FULL life. It's because I do. & I am not willing to be one more person affirming a life choice that puts space between yourself and a God who loves you more than you can and will comprehend on this earth. It pains Him to be apart from you.

My heart aches because I know His aches to be near you. It's not really about equality but that is a nice fancy spin the world has put on it. It is about being affirmed in a life of sin that separates you from your Creator.

In the words of one of my favorite people...

I love you, but you're wrong.

Spring.

My life as of late has been more crazy than usual. I have had to lean on God more than usual. I have not had as much sleep as I would like. This season is pretty gut wrenching and I am ready to move out of it! Which will happen, all in due time, and until that time here is my recap. Already 81 days into the year! It is flying by so quick!

68. My day started out with a search for a spring and summer staple. My search was longer than anticipated but I found it! If you like the loose beachy messy look this is the stuff for you... and me.

69. One of my favorite things in life is winning. & Thats what I did all day long.

70. I made spaghetti quash for the first time. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be... but it wasn't pasta either. so. There's that.

71. All of these trees have decided spring is here... and these are my very favorite sight to see walking around Lubbock lately.

72. I rarely get to meet up with J for lunch or anything during the week because I take late lunches but today we actually made an afternoon lunch date and it was relaxing in the middle of my work week.

73. I like finding quotes like this because this is how things sound in my head.

74. Well sometimes there must be bowling. & this little guy was an all star & loved it.... everytime it was his turn.

75.  We went on a date to Chuck E Cheese just the two of us. Why? Because guys, my life has been really stressful lately. It's been an emotionally taxing couple of weeks and I needed a night off from being a grown up.

76. We look ready to be parents yes? No. We're not. No babies! We did take this little nugget to Home Depot and he was just thrilled beyond anything I could have imagined. Kids really are easily entertained.

77. I had another completely stressful day full of questions I did not have any answers to. All of that requires time outside away from the questions.
78. I had a little helper in the kitchen with dinner clean up.

79. It was my first attempt at a homemade Turkey burger, we usually hit up Bless Your Heart for our Turkey Burgers but I wanted to see if it could be replicated, and it can... almost. They have delicious bread.

 80. The color run is this weekend! I have been awaiting this gem for a year, and am so glad I didn't have to pack it up and head to Dallas this year. It is supposed to be chilly and windy tomorrow but you know what? I still plan on enjoying every minute of it and having a blast!

81. Due to the afore mentioned stresses and am every day counting down to this trip. I am looking forward to relaxing at the Qua in Caesar's Palace, eating pastries at Jean Philippe every morning while looking at the Bellagio gardens, and devouring frozen hot chocolate on the patio at Serendipity 3. I can not wait to be on the Mandalay beach, feet in sand, wave pool and lazy river waiting for me. I am looking forward to days away from Lubbock with my husband, mom and nephew. It is much needed and it will be where I walking into my 28th year of life! I love a birthday in Las Vegas.

A month in photo's

Yikes! I have been MIA for a month! I have 29 snap shots for you guys though.

39& 40 & 41 We went out of town for a little weekend before Valentines. It is one of my favorite things to go somewhere new. The weekend seems longer when I'm not on my usual to do list.

42. This little guy thought it would be hilarious to steal my glasses and run around like a maniac in them. He couldn't stand still he thought it was so cool to have glasses on. Silly kid.

43. As valentines approached I couldn't resist the chocolate or the valentines sentiment.
 44. This little guy arrived just before Valentines but it was one of my present. & I was so excited to get it

 45. One of my favorite things about this time of year is seeing these sunrises on my way to work.

46. we bought this little guy while we were out of town, and I finally pulled it out to use it.
 47. One of my Christmas presents. We finally, finally put it together. Lubbock was warming up quick and I didn't want to miss out on the beautiful riding weather.

48. It was put together & time to go

 49. We started riding a lot, and still do. There are a few key months in Lubbock where it's perfect outside, those temps will be replaced with unbearable heat soon enough.

50. We needed to pretend it was winter a little longer.

 51. I know both of these are of dogs and TV's but I think it is so funny the way our little one watched TV & That is Whitney and it is one of my favorite shows. Girl is hilarious.
 52. Some days you have time for nothing but mascara. I keep my fav mascara near. & Thank God for my Phoenix AZ roommate Megan for introducing me to it. She basically changed my life. ha. I kid. Mostly. Try this mascara out if you're ever in the mood to change.
 53. Market street. I love this store. It is right by our house. It is so nice. & the times we go are mostly quiet and it's like another world... & I love grocery shopping.
 54. I love this boy, enough to let him wear PJ's in public.
 55. I also love him enough to get his birthday cake together. I hate icing cakes. Cupcakes. Easy. Cakes. Ugh.
 56. Guys, I dream about Monte Cristo sandwiches. I do. They are one of the best things on the planet. But, my waistline doesn't appreciate them as much as my taste buds. So I set out to make a low calorie home made version and guess what? It was really really really good.
 57. Mr.Darcy in Oscar DeLarenta....the way it should by. Walking this little guy can be tricky since me and J like to go 3+ miles and he really likes to be carried after 1.
 58. I am... at Chuckie Cheese. It is a child's birthday party. I am also a child. I love skee ball. I'll play all night guys! I need one in my house. Obviously.
 59. I like when I am cleaning and songs I adore come on out of the blue. These guys are good stuff if you are looking for new music.
 60. The color run is coming! I am stoked. We looked at the one in Dallas to go to closer to my birthday but then this little guy announced Lubbock as a city! Delightful! & cheaper!
 61. Guys, I got back into books. I forgot how much I love reading them. I probably forgot how much I love writing them too.
 62. I put on my husbands sweatshirt this morning. Because it was cloudy and cold and because I miss him when we're apart and it made me feel like i had a piece of him
 63. If you live in Llano Estates and have been hearing fire works the past few weeks. Apologies. We have a precious little guy who turned 4 and who loves fire works!
 64. This same precious 4 year old surprised me at lunch!
 65. It is one of my favorite things to be able to make lattes and mochas and hot chocolates when ever I desire for a fraction of the price of Starbucks. Nespresso's should come standard in every home like... dishwashers.

66. When we went to Barnes & Noble, in looking for a new book it dive into I ran across the one that I wrote. I still love seeing it on the shelves & remembering I am a published author.

67. Just one of my favorite ways to be. With a book & a boy.
